Lee Soo-kwang, the 11th president of the KBL, announced his inauguration.

KBL announced the start of its three-year term at the 11th executive inauguration ceremony at the KBL Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 1st.

"I feel a lot of pressure to take the helm at a time when professional basketball is making a leap forward after overcoming many difficulties, but I will strive for the development of Korean pro basketball," President Lee Soo-kwang said in his inaugural speech. "I will make fan-first the best value and do my best to make professional basketball a festival venue for fans. The team plans to further revitalize its integrated marketing platform and actively communicate with fans through new media. In addition, the team plans to foster youth basketball and cooperate with academy sports to expand its base. I promise to devote all my capabilities to the development of professional basketball during my term in office."

Meanwhile, the new secretary-general and the head of the game division were elected at the 30th extraordinary general meeting held prior to the inauguration ceremony.
