Botswana government to boost casino revenue
The small African country of Botswana, at least for the casino industry, is not feeling the pinch of a recession. The Casino Management Committee released its annual report in April, with casino revenues reaching record highs in 2008.
Casino revenues increased by 51% and government contributions increased by 28%. In fact, only one case has reduced government charges, but the report analyzes this as a result of the casino's negligence in collecting admission fees.
Moonlight casinos at the Gaboren Hotel are up 209% compared to 2007, the second year of operation.
Gabonne Sun Casino's sales were up 63% year-over-year, with P60,915,225 total sales in 2008, leading the way. 슬롯사이트 순위
